Hoh River Nightby ~Visually-Verdant

This was taken at about 1am after several hours of driving to the Hoh rainforest in Olympic National Forest for a camping trip. It's a long exposure HDR photo, comprised of four individual photos taken at 15s, 30s, 1m, and 2m. What really surprised me was the green hue around the moon and reflected in the river- auroral activity is rare around here but it's possible to capture it with a long exposure. Then, it could also be chromatic aberration that didn't get corrected. Either way, it's beautiful.

Haha, thanks! It was a really great trip out; my buddy with whom I was camping forgot his migraine meds and realized it halfway out there, so we had to add another four hours on to the journey but it was worth it- we drove west through what seemed like an endless sunset playing on the same clouds in this photo; then watched the moon turn them silver.
